Tiana Ramsay

Occupational Therapist

Tiana is an Occupational Therapist within The Potential Ability Group in the Evolving Potential department, working across the Murray Mallee, Adelaide Hills and Southern Adelaide regions. Completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University in 2019, Tiana previously worked as a rural generalist in the adult sector.

Tiana chose to join the Evolving Potential team as she wanted to be in a workplace that provides the opportunity to develop a strong rapport with clients to assist them to achieve their goals and she appreciates that this role is within the community, therefore enabling clients to engage in therapy within a setting that they are familiar. Being a country girl, Tiana thinks it is great that she is able to travel to clients, making services easily accessible for those living in country areas and loves being able to support clients in areas that traditionally have not been able to access services regularly.

Tiana believes being an Occupational Therapist is an incredibly rewarding profession and loves the diversity and the ability to assist clients to reach their desired goals, whilst doing it in a fun and engaging way. Tiana’s passion for working within the paediatric setting stems from growing up around younger cousins and being involved throughout various stages of their development.

Tiana loves travelling and has had a few memorable experiences including volunteering in a school and elephant sanctuary in Cambodia and swimming with whale sharks. Tiana also enjoys camping, going for hikes and spending time with her family and friends… and her dog. Tiana openly admits she is obsessed with chocolate and thinks you are never too old for a Disney movie… just some of the reasons she fits in with the team!
